This event will start and finish at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Half marathon competitors will have an opportunity to run past and through some of Pasadena’s greatest landmarks including the Rose Bowl, the Colorado Bridge, the Arroyo Seco, Devil’s Gate Dam, JPL, the new Flintwash Bridge and more! The course is scenic, periodically hilly and comprised of a combination of road and trail. Approximately 70% of the course is on the trails near Brookside Golf Course and Hahamongna Watershed Park.
FinisherPix will be taking individual pictures of runners on the course. These will be available for your review 48 hours after the event. Kid's 1K Run
In addition to the Rose Bowl Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, there will be a Kids’ Fun-Run for kids under the age of 12 years old. The 1K, un-timed route down Rosemont Avenue finishing on the field is a great chance for parents to share a passion for running and exercise with their children! The run is a perfect starting point for any aspiring young runner, and only costs $15 if you register before Feb. 20, 2014. All Kids will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt.
The finish will be at the World famous Rose Bowl stadium! With post-event activities in the Horizon Club. Activities include the Rose Bowl concessions (bring some $$), a beer garden, booths and the award ceremonies. Half-marathon competitors will have 3.5 hours to complete the race. You MUST be present to get your awards. Award medals or shoes will not be mailed.
Packet Pick-Up & Weekend Registration
Location: Rose Bowl Stadium Ticket Booth 16; Parking will be in Lot B.
Saturday 12:00 - 4:00 PM and Sunday, from 6:00 - 7:45 AM (VIP registrants ONLY). Your race packet includes bib number, safety pins, timing chip, competitor info sheet, maps, and a wristband (21 and over only).
If someone else is picking up your packet, they must have your signed waiver and a copy of your photo ID. Download the waiver
VIP athletes will be able to pick up their registration information on Sunday morning at a special VIP Packet Pick Up Window and will receive a parking pass, a $20 merchandise certificate, a complimentary photo from FinisherPix and $20 off any future Pacific Sports race.

Race Day Parking
IMPORTANT NOTE - All competitors must arrive no later than 7:15 am. Lots will open at 5:30 am. The course will officially be closed by 7:30 am making access to the stadium very difficult. We recommend planning to arrive early on race day. Parking at the Rose Bowl will be in Lots K for all participants and spectators. The fee for parking per car is $10. VIP/Volunteer Parking will be in Lot F.
There will be seven fluid stations on the half marathon course and three aid stations on the 10K and 5k course. All aid stations will be stocked with Herbalife 24 HYDRATE and water. Mileage is based on the half marathon course.
Station #1 : Casting Pond - mile 1.25/mile 3.5 - half only
Station #2 : Rosemont just north of N Arroyo Blvd - mile 5 - all courses
Station #3 : Washington/Rosemont - mile 6 and 11 - all courses
Station #4 : Devil's Gate Dam - mile 7 and 10 - half only
Station #5 : JPL Parking Lot - mile 8.25 - half only
Station #6 : Foothill Blvd near Frisbee Golf Course - mile 9.5 - half only
Station #7 : Salvia Canyon Rd and West Drive - mile 12 - all courses
Finisher medals will be given to everyone who crosses the finish line in any category (half marathon, 10k, 5k, 1k). Awards will go to the top three finishers in each division.
Halo Top Creamery will be awarding our top male and top female in the ½ marathon, 10k and 5k with 1 pint (your flavor choice) of Halo Top All Natural Ice Cream. And guess what? Halo Top will also award the top boy and girl in the Kid’s Fun Run 1K with a pint of their flavor choice as well. Halo Top is the first-ever ice cream that’s low-calorie, protein rich, sugar-poor and all-natural. Come and get it! They’ll be on-site on race day.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be present to pick up your finisher and/or award medals, and your shoes. We will not be mailing medals or shoes. Post race activities will be held at the Horizon Club in the Rose Bowl. Please stay!
